The discipline of calculating, attributing, and honestly presenting investment returns across every asset class a family owns.

A three-generation family with significant illiquid holdings may show strong reported returns on paper while facing real constraints on spendable cash — a nuance that only surfaces when performance measurement is integrated with liquidity management.
